Review any command before running it. Package names and URLs come from the server's own registry entry.

Package (npm 0.7.0)

npx -y @reinconsole/[email protected]

Or add to your MCP client config:

  "mcpServers": {
    "rein": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": [
        "-y",
        "@reinconsole/[email protected]"
      ],
      "env": {
        "REIN_AGENT_FILE": "<YOUR_VALUE>",
        "REIN_ENGINE_URL": "<YOUR_VALUE>",
        "REIN_AGENT_ID": "<YOUR_VALUE>",

      }
    }
  }
}
  • REIN_AGENT_FILE — Path to the rein-agent.json written by `npx @reinconsole/init` (engine URL, agent id, API key, wallet).
  • REIN_ENGINE_URL — Policy engine base URL. Required unless REIN_AGENT_FILE is set.
  • REIN_AGENT_ID — The one agent this server speaks for. Required unless REIN_AGENT_FILE is set.
  • REIN_ENGINE_API_KEY secret — Bearer key for the engine, ideally an evaluate key narrowed to this agent.
  • REIN_PAYER_PRIVATE_KEY secret — Agent wallet key. Omit for advisory mode: policy is checked, nothing is paid.
  • REIN_NETWORK_PROFILE — testnet (default) or mainnet: which network's 402s this server will pay.
